Summer Lifeguards at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts!
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has multiple lifeguard positions available for the summer 2012 season. These part-time seasonal lifeguard positions are responsible for ensuring the safety of the guests while providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. We are accepting applications for ages 16 and above at Hersheypark and at our Resort properties which include: Hershey Highmeadow Campground, Hershey Lodge, Hershey Country Club, and The Hotel Hershey.

Lifeguards at Hersheypark!
As a shallow water lifeguard you can work at one of the coolest places, The Boardwalk at Hersheypark. Lifeguards receive paid lifeguard training. If you are 16 and older and want a job that’s unlike any other, apply for the Summer Lifeguard position at Hersheypark today!
- Certification training for the position will be provided free of charge by the Hershey Entertainment Complex through the International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program (Jeff Ellis & Associates).
- *Certification is non-transferable and is current for 1 year.
Hersheypark Working Environment
- Shallow Water Lifeguards are trained to guard water that is five (5) feet deep or less.
- Rotate through multiple stations during shift every 30 minutes
- Crowded areas with large volume of guests each day

Lifeguards at the Resorts!
Challenge yourself with a rewarding, outdoor summer job as a lifeguard with Hershey Resorts. American Red Cross lifeguard certification is required and is offered at a discounted rate if you are not currently certified. We look for upbeat, personable individuals who can provide courteous assistance to our guests and maintain the safety of our various pool complexes.
- Applicants do not need to be previously certified lifeguards to apply; however applicants must be committed to obtaining certification within 4 weeks of application.
- Certification is not provided free of charge, but certification classes may be offered at a discount through the American Red Cross.
- Certification is current for two years.
- Applicants must be prepared to take a swimming test as part of the application process which includes a 300 yard swim test (free style with rotary breathing & breast stroke) and retrieval of a brick from the bottom of a pool 6-7 feet deep in a timed event.
Resorts Working Environment
- Facilities include indoor and outdoor pool complexes.
- Maintaining chemical levels and facilities of pool area
- Assisting the Recreation Department with events/activities
