Q: How do I obtain a working permit for my child?
The steps below need to be completed in order for your child to begin working:
STEP 1: At the end of the interview, your child’s department will fill out Section C on the back of the application. If they have not completed it, please visit their department office or the Employee Resource Center.
STEP 2: Go to your child’s high school office with the following to have Section A completed:
- Original birth certificate or a document that has evidence of their age (please see the box with letters A-E on the work permit application for other options)
Please DO NOT fill in Section B of the application prior to going to the high school office. This section must be completed in the presence of a school official by the parent or guardian.
STEP 3: You must have a doctor complete Section D stating your child has had a recent physical.
STEP 4: Once the entire work permit application is filled out, your child must return the application to their high school office where they will be issued their actual work permit.
If your child is 14 or 15, their high school may mail their work
permit to the Employee Resource Center. Your child must first call
717-520-JOBS(5627) prior to attending Company Orientation to verity
that we have received their actual work permit. If your child receives
their work permit from their high school they will need to remember
to bring it to their Company Orientation class.
NOTE: Your child CANNOT complete their Company

called 717-520-JOBS(5627) to see whether or not we have received

- Take Home Option—Yes. If your child wishes to have their uniform laundered at home, they will need to clear out their locker and inform Wardrobe of their decision
[NOTE: Employees may not have a locker if they choose Take Home Option.]
Uniform Wear
- When your child is on the Entertainment Complex for work, they
must be following the proper uniform standards set in the Employee

standards are not met, disciplinary action will be taken. We expect
our employees to be dressed professionally and well groomed everyday
