Hershey Entertainment & Resorts offers a variety of internship opportunities for college students seeking valuable work experience. Each of these unique opportunities can help you gain on-the-job experience, polish your skills, and build a professional network.

- Hospitality Internships
Our Hospitality Internship Program is offered to sophomores through graduating seniors enrolled in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Travel, Tourism, and related majors. This unique experience gives students the opportunity to gain managerial skills and customize their experience in one of several concentrations.
Internships are available during the summer season and are posted in September/October. Housing is available.
- Culinary Internships
Our Culinary Internships are offered to students enrolled in an accredited culinary program. This unique internship experience gives students the opportunity to work alongside seasoned culinary professionals and sharpen technical skills.
Culinary internships are offered and posted year round, January through December.

- Housing & Transportation
Housing services are available through International House of Harrisburg (IHouse) for employees who participate in the Hospitality and Culinary Internship Programs. For more information, visit www.ihousehbg.org
An application* must be submitted to IHouse to secure your spot. Upon completion of the housing application, you will receive additional paperwork from IHouse to complete, including your lease along with a rules & regulation form.
*Please note that the application fee will be waived for Hospitality and Culinary Internship Programs.
For Hospitality and Culinary Internship Programs, you can expect to pay approximately $500 per month for housing. In addition, a $476 refundable* security deposit is due upon arrival. For your convenience, all rent is payroll deducted from your bi-weekly paycheck. Your security deposit must be paid directly to IHouse. Rental amounts are subject to change and any questions regarding housing expenses should be directed to the IHouse at firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Carpet cleaning, other cleaning, damages, unpaid rent, and excess of electric bills will be removed from security deposit.
Transportation & Parking
Employees are responsible for their own transportation. Some housing locations may require the use of covered or uncovered parking garages and/or lots. These monthly rates are approximately $210 per month and eligible for reimbursement from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, not to exceed $210 per month. The reimbursement is only for employees in the Hospitality and Culinary Internship Programs who are placed at IHouse locations without free parking.
