To establish a workforce committed to diversity and inclusion through various Training & Development, communication, talent acquisition, and retention efforts while encouraging employees to bring their authentic selves to work.
Marketplace Excellence
Holistically leveraging sales and marketing to support ingraining diversity and inclusion in the HE&R Culture through the recruitment of employees and the attraction and return visits of guests from all over the country.
Community Engagement
Continue to build and strengthen collaborative partnerships with our Workforce Inclusion Committee (WIC), Corporate Relations team, and other Hershey entities. In addition, identify and enhance external community relationships that may evolve into strategic and/or collaborative partnerships.

Additionally, HE&R offers Employee Resource Groups (ERG) encouraging collaboration, discussion, and action among team members. These groups provide an opportunity that allows the voices of employees to be heard and the power of diverse thinking to influence our company culture.
ERGs include:
- Workforce Inclusion Committee (WIC) - WIC is a cross-functional resource group that provides guidance and recommends inclusion & diversity strategies and initiatives.
- Women In Leadership (WIL) - WIL develops and empowers women across Hershey Entertainment & Resorts by offering a voice for all, a supportive network, and enrichment opportunities. We serve as advocates to promote an inclusive environment throughout our organization while promoting growth and engagement.
- MHS-HE&R Partnership Committee - This group encourages increased engagement and improved communication between Milton Hershey School and our organization.
