Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I apply for a job?
-
To find a position click on “Search Jobs” and indicate where you want to work, your areas of interest, and whether you are looking for part-time or full-time openings. From the job search results, click on a specific job to view the full description and requirements. If you are interested, click “Apply” and you will be prompted to create an account or login to an existing account.
- How do I log in to my account?
-
If you are applying to a position for the first time, you will need to Create an Account.
If you have an account but forgot your password, you can reset it by selecting “Forgot Password”. The system will prompt you to enter your username (which may be your email address or a unique name that you have created as your username). You will receive an email to the email address originally added to your profile with your password reset details. If you have completed this step, but still have not received a password reset email, confirm you are checking the email address you entered on your original application. This could also indicate you entered your email address incorrectly on your original application.
If you have forgotten your username or are still experiencing issues with login, contact the Human Resources Department at 717-520-JOBS (5627).
- How many applications can I submit?
-
You can apply and be active on four positions at any given time.
- How can I see the status of my application?
-
You can view the status of an application through your candidate dashboard, accessible after you login to your account. Select the position of interest from the drop-down list and you will see an indicator of your application status and any communication that has been sent to you regarding the position.
- How can I update my information after I have submitted an application?
-
You can update your profile, including your contact information, resume, and cover letter at any time by visiting the candidate dashboard. Login to your account, click “Application History”, then “View/Edit” to access and edit your personal information, and click “Save”. When you update your profile, this information automatically updates the applications for which you have applied. You can edit your Resume or CV by clicking “Edit” next to “Resume/CV”.
- What are next steps after I complete my application?
-
For the majority of our positions, once you have submitted your application and assuming you meet the basic qualifications of the position, a member of our Talent Acquisition Team reviews your application and resume. Those who most closely match the requirements for the position are moved on for further consideration. Next steps could include a phone screen, phone interview, or onsite interview with the hiring manager.
If you have applied to a position and were asked to schedule an interview during your application process, your application will be reviewed by a member of the Talent Acquisition Team and upon successful review they will send you an e-mail confirming your interview time. We encourage you to continue checking your e-mail as you will receive updates regarding the status of your application.
